Charles Rennie Mackintosh was a Scottish architect, designer and watercolorist, who played an important role in the Arts and Crafts movement, being also the greatest exponent of Art Nouveau in Scotland. Mackintosh, took a qualitative leap in the vision of decorative arts by providing pieces of exceptional design for their days, that are icons of design today.
His famous chair was designed especially for the project The Hill House and known after with the same name. Especially his back inspires this series of luminaries that have also been created like a tribute to his work.
